Description: A George IV period open Armchair in Mahogany, with an overhanging top rail accented by foliate carving, and exaggerated scrolling arms. Dating from the first quarter of the 1800s, and English in origin.

The drop-in seat with reeded exposed front rail, above turned front legs with fluting, and splayed back legs.
